TRON Sequel Poll and Others Closed, Results
I've closed all of the older polls that I created, dating back the last year or so. Thank you to everyone who participated in the polls. Here are the results.
I think it's safe to say, at this point, that the next TRON film is going to be a sequel. Not a remake. Jeff Bridges is confirmed as reprising his role of Flynn. That news pretty much clinches it. Thank the Users it's a sequel, and not a needless remake.
The results haven't changed a lot since the last time I took a look at them. The majority of poll participants have always overwhelmingly preferred a sequel.
There's been an increase in the number of poll participants who said they weren't interested in the TRON comic. Which is disappointing. But the majority have always responded that they were interested.
To find out more about the comic, visit my articles where I reviewed issues #1, #2, and #3. My reviews of #4, #5, and #6 are still forthcoming. For additional news and information on the comic, just use the "Search TRON 2.0 News" box in the upper right corner of this site.
There hasn't been a lot of change here since last time, either. The majority of poll participants liked the comic.
The results of this poll come as no surprise to me. The number one preferred platform, that poll participants would like to see the XBOX Live Arcade versions of TRON Arcade and Discs of TRON migrate to, is the PC.
Now that Microsoft's Games for Windows Live offers a Marketplace: how about it, Disney Interactive? Porting those two games to the PC would be incredibly easy to do. But let's hope, at the same time, they'd take the time to address the complaints about the original XBOX versions.
The second most desired platform, the Wii, also comes as no surprise. The Wii controllers and a TRON game were made for each other.
